How & Where to Buy
We currently sell through 3 primary markets, but here is a little more info about one of them: the weekly Veggie Box (or CSA) program:
What is a CSA program?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a direct customer/farmer purchasing relationship that has been around for decades, and is similar to a shareholder agreement. Purchasing a farm share at the beginning of the season is an investment in the farm that allows it to have stable, reliable income at a time when it needs it most. It also allows the farm to plan what to grow, giving CSA members exactly what they want. CSA models and members can be critical to a farm's success, so we value our CSA members a lot: we recognize that they are making a big investment in our farm and it means the world to us!
We call our CSA the Veggie Box program, simply because it is easier for people to remember, and a little more fun! When you are ready to purchase, they are the same thing.
VEGGIE BOX PROGRAM
The best deal is a Veggie Box share. You get 15 weeks of seasonal veggies from the farm, based on your own preferences. Here are some of the perks:
access to purchasing additional farm produce or products from other awesome local farms
option to adjust your order every week
a weekly newsletter with farm updates and recipes
first dibs on all the best produce from the farm
delivery or pick-up options
Puddle Produce aims to be at every farmers market of the season, in Williams Lake. The market is on from May 4th through October 11th this year, in Kiwanis Park, so come on down and look for the Puddle P tent!
If you're a restaurant or retailer in Williams Lake or Quesnel, and want fresh, local veg for your customers, give us a shout. We'll send you a "fresh list" every week with pricing on what's available, and you can make special or standing orders based on what's in season. Shoot us an email or call to find out more.
