A LOCAL FOOD FEAST

Puddle Produce Farm is very excited to be hosting a 4-course Harvest Dinner event on Saturday, September 14th, 2019. We are planning for a feast of 100% local food from the farm itself, as well as other local and sustainable food producers in the Cariboo region, live music, games, a farm tour, and a chance to win the night's stay in the farm skoolie, and take home a basket of farm produce!
Guests will be welcomed to the farm in the early evening, where they can take part in a farm tour (5pm), games, conversation, or simply enjoy a drink and the sweeping views of the Fraser River. By 6pm, guests will be seated at the beautifully set outdoor dinner table between the orchard and the strawberry patch. The meal will be plated and catered by one of Williams Lake's best chefs, and accompanied by charcuterie-style appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks at each table. There will be a cash bar on site, featuring BC-made bevvies.
After dinner, everyone is encouraged to stick around for music, dancing, and more music!
For those who don't want to worry about the drive home, there is on-site camping available (tents only) When you purchase your ticket, you can also opt in to win the night in the farm skoolie and take home a basket of produce! The skoolie sleeps 2 comfortably (double bed), and has a kitchenette, electric fire place, and no wifi. So it's very peaceful :P
This celebration is an opportunity not only to celebrate local food, but also the producers that work so hard to make it, as well as the many wonderful customers and friends Puddle Produce Farm is lucky to have. Hope to see you here on the farm!
LOGISTICS:
- you will receive directions to the farm and any other pertinent details after you have purchased a ticket, and closer to the event date
- due to the market garden and animals on the farm, no guest pets are permitted at the event
- there will be dishes to accommodate some dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian and gluten-free
- camping spots are FCFS
